MRI EXAMINATIONS
An MRI examination is one of the most accurate imaging methods for making a diagnosis. SYNLAB’s high-quality MRI examinations are available without a doctor’s referral. SYNLAB’s MRI examination includes a radiologist’s statement. The statement is only available in Finnish. You will receive the images electronically in your own health folder.

MRI at SYNLAB – please note:
A service charge is added to the total price of examinations.
- We do not perform MRI scans on persons who have a pacemaker.
- Arrive at the service point 15 minutes before your appointment.
- The results will be available in your online Health Folder portal within 1–3 working days.
- A written statement about the examination is only available in Finnish. An English summary can be added at the end upon request.
